Cutting edge Neurofeedback Treatment

Dr. Milner’s treatment plans are fairly traditional in that they target a decrease in unwanted symptoms. In addition, as an auxiliary to treating anxiety and depression, Dr. Milner has introduced several of the most up-to-date neurofeedback devices. Neurofeedback takes place under her supervision. Thus, patients receive a holistic approach to treatment. Since neurofeedback is grounded in Western science it is proven to have, as one of her very satisfied patients put it, “Shockingly beneficial results!”

She has several sophisticated electronic devices. One of which electronically traces internal physiological states. These are measured and monitored each week on a recorded graph allowing the individual to see how they are progressing. Graphical feedback tracks reactions as they rise and fall in synch with the individual’s state of mind, thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

Since getting into a deep state of relaxation is such a challenge for most anxious and depressed patients, Dr. Milner has introduced, amongst others, a device designed by Deepak Chopra that can be used to help patients quickly relax and focus. The Deepak Chopra Dream Weaver uses light and sound pulses at specific frequencies to help the user reach a variety of interesting and beneficial states of consciousness.

The above active feedback programs are for psycho-educational use only and are not medical devices. It is not used in place of professional medical care.
